Charlize

I noticed a few recent outfits from Charlize Theron lately that have really caught my eye. The blonde beauty looks phenomenal whether it's leaving the airport or picking up her car from a garage. The two looks above are filled with androgyny and minimalism. I also noticed she loves wearing blazers (and who could argue, with her ability to make them look so sophisticated and sexy at the same time?!). The booties in her first look are from The Loft and I was lucky enough so scoop up the same pair yesterday in a local store. Although they are sold out online, most retail locations still carry them and there's a 30% percent off friends & family sale taking place now! They are super comfy and chic, I can't wait to start wearing them. I'm also on a hunt for a baggy sweater similar to hers so my search continues... Charlize is without a doubt a woman who dresses for her body and manages to look stunning and comfortable regardless of where she's going.

OSCAR Stunners

Although I wasn't too thrilled with the Oscar gowns this year, I did fall in love with 2 dresses. That would be the magnificent Michelle Williams in Chanel and Jennifer Lawrence (who is stunning as well) in Calvin Klein. I was thrilled Michelle didn't go with something frumpy because she is too gorgeous to not be seen. It seemed the simple trend was happening a lot this award season and although I do love a good over the top gown, it was a nice change. I love the fact that something so simple (like all of Calvin Klein's dresses) can be so elegant with just a touch of sexy.

Red Carpet Lady

As of late, Leighton Meesters style has really been been catching my eye. It's clear to see that both her street and red carpet style are the complete opposite of Blair Waldorf and I love that about her. She wore this Michael Kors dress to the premiere of her new movie "The Roommate", and I think she looks stunning, edgy, and chic. Definitely someone at the top of my fashion radar list.

The Lighter Side

Kristen Stewart for Vogue's February issue. I love that they lightened her hair for the shoot, and I think she looks amazing. She's wearing Proenza and I no longer despise her awkwardness.

Golden Globes Best Dressed

Just a few of my favorite looks from the Golden Globes red carpet. I think this is the first year I fell in love with SO many dresses! Others I didn't post pics of who I loved were Natalie Portman (showing off the bump, so cute!), Sofia Vergara with her dangerous curves, and Claire Danes who pretty much should be the spokeswoman for Calvin Klein because she wears it oh so well. I really loved that this year the focus seemed to be sexy backs, and there was a ton of emerald green all over the place from Catherine Zeta Jones, to Angelina Jolie, and of course the stunning Mila Kunis. This year the ladies really pulled out some elegant show stoppers. Amazing!

2011

This year was truly amazing. It was full of change and with change comes many great things. I can only hope the same for 2011. Wishing all my Fashionistas a happy and healthy New Year! May it be filled with sparkle and studs. ;)

Major Girl Crush

I felt compelled to do a post on Natalie Portman ever since watching her in Black Swan. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and GO! I'm a big movie person and this film was by far one of the greatest movies I've seen in very long time. The acting, the script, the directing -- everything was phenominal. Natalie Portman gave a really powerful performance and left me mesmorized. She just announced that she is engaged AND expecting with her co-star in the movie who also choreographed the film, Benjamin Millepied. Congrats to this beauty!

Christmas!

This one is long overdue. The past couple of months have been complete madness and although I haven't posted in quite some time, I have not stopped reading my favorite blogs! Christmas was yesterday and being that theres a blizzard happening outside, what a better time then to start a new post.
