I feel like I haven't seen much of Nicole Richie lately so when I came across these photos of her in Australia from this past week I was quite excited. She looks so healthy and has a fresh glow these days. I've always appreciated her for the chameleon she is, but I love the dark hair and bangs.

Also still lusting after that Givenchy Nightingale bag she's rocking.

Although I've been trying very hard since my move to the city to cut down on my magazine spending (it's actually going pretty well!), there is always going to be 1 or 2 issues a month that I absolutely have to get my hands on. Of course the UK edition of Marie Claire with Nicole Richie was at the top of my list. Besides being completely obsessed with her and her entire spread, I really loved the entire magazine overall. Is it just me or does Europe just have better magazines in general?? I feel like everytime I flip through a Paris Vogue or UK Harpers Bazaar I can't seem to put it down! So yeah, my girl obvi rocked her shoot and that dark hair with the bangs?! Love me some Nicole. Really. She can do no wrong in my eyes. Everrrrrr! :)

I want a yacht, and really that's not a lot!

When I write that this Chanel bag has been in my dreams, I'm nowhere near kidding. I've lusted after luxurious designer bags for as long as I can remember but in now way shape or form would I actually be willing to give up many life necessities in order to afford this black beauty. I've also had my eye on the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 (in the Damier canvas) for quite some time as well. Apparently I better get moving on what I want because since just last year the price of that sucker has gone up almost a hundred bucks! It mysteriously went from $620---to $700! At this rate I feel like I might as well go all out and splurge on the Chanel...right? It's obviously not the best time of the year to be thinking of such luxury items...tis the season to give and all, but a girl can't help but dream.

I can't believe thanksgiving is next week...!! This year flew by so fast, a lot faster than I had thought it would. I do love this time of the year though, the chilly (but not too chilly) weather, the smell of winter slowly approaching, Christmas commercials, red holiday cups at Starbucks, and of course the Christmas season wouldn't be complete without goodies like the movie "Elf", Mallomars (yummyyy!), big chunky sweaters and cute knitted hats and scarves. I truly enjoy the weeks leading up to Christmas far more than the big day itself. I've had somewhat of a writers block the last few days and have had tons on my mind! Right now I'm sorting out my next move in life (I mean that literally & figuratively).

Anyway I'm off to explore Express online because I was extremely excited to find the Holiday coupon book in the mail today. I'm also eying several items at Aldo, Nine West, and H&M. I wish I was a millionaire. I need to do whatever it takes to ensure that I make a salary sufficient enough to afford my lavish taste and still be comfortable....Thank God I went back to school after all!

Santa can you hear me? ;)

Oh yeah, I'm currently listening to my all time favoriteee Christmas Songs to put me in the holly jolly spirit!
Right now: Madonna, Santa Baby

Cut-offs

Cut-offs are appearing everywhere these days, and with the heat (no sun still) just hot humidity it makes sense. They are the casual way to keep cool and can be dressed up or down. For me I think they look best plain and simple. I'd say with a plain white or black tee and then glammed up with a belt or big jewelry, and some cute sandals. I do however love the rocker chic look the vest gives off (Nicky Hilton) or a cute Motorcycle Jacket (Amanda Bynes). The acid wash with the torn bottoms and pockets peeking out of the bottom's are my fav.♥

The Romper Room!

Here's a trend I cannot get ENOUGH OF ! The romper has slowly been making it's way back onto the scene for a couple of years now. The first one I remember seeing and actually thinking looked adorable on was worn by Jamie Lynn Spears (Pre-baby) a couple of years back at some awards show. I remember it was a bright coral color and she wore it with a cute pair of strappy heels and a dark tan....it looked adorable! From then on I frantically was on the hunt for one, and I even did a mega search for one for my 21st Bday! I was looking everywhere online, unfortunately at that time there were few to choose from and they were very expensive! Now they can be found almost anywhere and I love it! I picked up one in black from express recently for only $39.50 and I can't wait to wear it. It's cotton so you can wear it down with some cute sandals or glam it up for a night out with some sexy heels and some cute jewels. You can get really creative with them as they come in tons of fabrics, colors, and patterns. Blake Lively has been spotted wearing them to several events lately and Nicole Richie was also one of the first to emerge in one (of course--she is a mega trend setter!). I know for some people they take some getting used to, but I for sure have been in awe of these cute little one pieces for a long time...I just hope they stick around!
