More is More.

This blistering cold weather leaves me day dreaming in class on the many joys that come with spring. One of the more important being the return of fabulous wedges and open toe platforms. With that in mind I pulled some of my favorite looks that I've come across throughout my favorite shopping sites and blogs.

First up is the tremendous and over the top Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci platform wedges. These were brought to my attention through the Rachel Zoe Report I receive daily (she always shows the most fabulous pieces! To join go to rachelzoe.com.) I promise you won't be disappointed! Anyway aren't those platforms to die for ?! Dangerous and over the top...right up my alley! The second pair is the Jessica Simpson Dani and the third are the Steve Madden Pointter.
I'm really feeling the whole chunky wooden heel/ wedge for this spring/ summer. Can't wait to get my hands on a pair!

So if you haven't already heard, People.com and some other very creditable sites posted yesterday that Taylor Jacobson from the Rachel Zoe team, was (supposedly) fired from Rachel Zoe inc. :( Sad. Sad. Sad. The actual events leading up to Taylor's exit from the R.Zoe team where she spent the last 7 years are still unclear, but Tay Tay did take to her twitter yesterday and posted this:

"Today is an end of an era and a beginning of a new professional chapter. Looking forward to what the future brings...!!!"

As sad as I am to see her go, it was made undeniably clear this past season how unhappy she was. I did however think that through the up's and downs of her relationship with both Brad and Rachel, at the end of the day they all loved each other...right? I kind of thought she would stick with Rachel forever but at the same time I think Taylor is incredibly talented and needs to spread her wings a bit to practice her true craft (styling) on her own. She brought strong identity and an enormous appreciation for her infamous white messy hair, wayfarers, gold watches, and the color BLACK. I admire her style on so many levels I really hope that whatever the future brings, this little lady needs to land back on T.V where all of her fans can continue to pull inspiration and smiles from her messy hot sense of style...and her insatiable sarcasm/ sense of humor.
