Diane Kruger's Chanel Haute Couture gown was hands down my favorite, but I also fell hard for Zoe Saldana's Givenchy Haute Couture, and Elizabeth Banks Versace number. Also loved Rachel McAdams floral gown which I couldn't get a pic of but it was breath taking! A little disappointed in the movies/ nominees this year but then again I haven't seen any of the films nominated. I do however plan on seeing Precious, Up In The Air and the Blind Side as soon as they come out on Netflix.

My top Grammy fashions. Obvi Lady Gaga is in there because she can do no wrong in my eyes...I love that she gets to be whoever she feels like being when she gets dressed...it's just fabulous. Heidi Klum, another of my favorite glamour ladies, sparkled in that short little number. I really think she's only getting hotter with age...so crazy!!! And of course as mentioned in a previous post, Lea Michelle from 'Glee' has been showing up at all the big events and rocking every red carpet. Here she's in a Ramona Keveza dress and she's radiant as always. I was very disappointed in Beyonce's gown that she wore on the red carpet but did appreciate the gold short number she changed into during the show. Also on the fence with Taylor Swifts gown?? love the silhouette just unsure of the color...? Overall there was no 'Wow' poppers for me but just some okay...nice looking dresses. Who were some of your favorite grammy looks of the night??

I'm bacccckkkkkkkk!!! :) Finally after getting settled into the new digs and adjusting to me new schedule...whew! What a crazy two weeks it's been! I must say I know a lot of people dislike change, but I absolutely love it! There is no greater feeling than a fresh start someplace new and exciting. As for my blog, I promise no more neglect. I'm having a yummy bowl of cereal and catching up on my fav. blogs before my next class. It's a very messy snowy/ rainy NYC kinda day. Hope everyone is having a lovely week!!

Now back to the good stuff...the fashion! I posted pics of the 2 gowns that literally took my breath away at last weeks SAG awards. My #1 favorite of the night was Diane Kruger (Duh!), wearing what I can only describe as the hottest silhouette the color mustard can come in. This Jason Wu stunner is impeccable and I can't stop starring. Is it just me or does that gown literally look like it was made for her body?! Right away it brought me back to the gown Michelle Williams wore to the Academy Awards a few years back? Or was it the Globes? Well whatever the case may be they both have that milky white skin tone that you need to make this dress look like perfection. I can't get enough of it, she looks unbelievable...true Hollywood glamour right there. Coming in a close 2nd is Kate Hudson in Emilio Pucci and again...this dress was made for her! Perfection. Perfection. Perfection. Ugh...I love it! Also shown is Lea Michelle in a to-die-for jewel toned Katherine Malandrino stunner. That little lady has been rocking some hot numbers lately..def. keeping my eye on her!

Red Carpet Recap

Align CenterThe pics don't even give a justice to how stunning I think these dresses were. Olivia Wilde nailed it the last 2 years, so it's no surprise she did it AGAIN in the lacy Marchesa number (bottom). My favorite dress of the night was without a doubt the forever gorgeous January Jones who was no doubt bold, and beautiful in Versace Atelier (first pic). Blake Lively also rocked Versace and I think the dress is stunning. Wasn't a huge fan of the braided hair though...I think a dress as sexy and revealing as that needed equally stunning sexy long flowing hair or a simple pulled back look as well. Heidi Klum is the most gorgeous pregnant woman in the world. Seriously, is there anything this woman can't do? I think it's safe to say NO ONE else could rock a skin tight gown, 5 inch heels at 8 months prego and still look as flawless as she did. She took maternity wear to a whole other level in that gown -- which is also Marchesa.

Teen Choice Fashion

Besides watching for the beautiful being that is Robert Pattinson (sigh). I also tuned in to watch some of my favorite fashionistas turn up the heat in some fun flirty outfits! Kim Kardashian showed up as a blonde! And I must say she pulls it off quite well..she looked awesome in that short white summer dress and of course rocked it with a pair of sexy sky high Gucci platforms. I loooooooved the dress little Ms. Selena Gomez wore!! She is such an elegant little lady! Meghan Fox = Hott (and I think she looks especially hot sans the fake spray tan. She has such beautiful white skin...and I'm sure the whole vampire frenzy contributes to the embrace of such a pale skin tone. Leighton Meester sizzled in those cute red pumps, I love the contrast a pair of red shoes can bring to basic black and white! Emma Roberts also looked quite lovely and reminded me yet again how utterly imperative it is to purchase a pair of black ankle booties for the fall ASAP!
