I've been wanting to do a post on these for a while now, but was waiting for them to appear on the Celebs and blow up all over the Mags (which of course they did). I caught my first glimpse of these Gucci "Iman" Ankle Strap Platforms a few months back flipping through W magazine. I still have the photos from that same Gucci spread. It was a jungle theme and I remember the colors were exquisite...Anyway the pair in that spread was the original black with the gold embeleshments on the platform and straps. These bad boys have been spotted on Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Jenny McCarthy, and Drew Barrymore (just to name a few).They come in a few colors and styles and I love them all. The original price tag was $1275 but they are on sale at most major department stores and gucci.com for much less (between $500-$700!) Still way to pricey for me so my plan is to wait for Steve Madden or Aldo to get on board with a much cheaper version. They are also available in a flat sandal version and similar to the super high 4inch platforms on the original there is a 3inch heel version with with 2 straps instead of three. Gorgeous <33>
