Kind of obsessed with this entire shot, but can't take my eyes off those Pierre Hardy wedges.

The holiday season is finally here, and with that being said it's definitely a time to give and be happy and appreciative of all the great people and things you love in life. My mind is filled with Christmas music, the smell of yummy lattes from Starbucks, incredible fashion (chunky knits, over the knee boots! oh my!), and of course the love of family and friends. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I feel this year in particular I opened my eyes and finally realized who and what is important to me...I also learned to weed out the bad and negative energy and surround myself only with positive. There are many things I'm thankful for such as...

My amazing family, good health, my 2 best friends and my countless other friends I've met the past few years (Another lesson learned--I'd rather have 1 or 2 REAL friends than a bunch of fake ones.), I'm thankful for my Mom and her strength...she's the reason I went back to school and have NOT lost focus of my dreams and goals in life. I'm also thankful for having dreams and goals, because let's be honest--anyone who doesn't is seriously missing out! I'm thankful for THIS BLOG AND ALL THE AMAZING BLOGS OUT THERE!, new friends, life altering surprises, kittens, Lady Gaga, music that has life meaning and actually puts me in a trance, the Elliptial machine (Our relationship was love/hate for a while but now I think were buddies), all things Fashion (duh!), but particularly all of the items noted 2 posts ago. Hmmm....cupcakes, sequins, fashion mags, my amazing book collection, curlers (WHAT...a difference they make for my hair after a good blow out!), and my gold Michael Kors watch that as of late I feel naked without. I look forward to the Christmas season like no other, I swear I wish a was a little kid again. I'm especially thankful for the freedom I have to make my own decisions without the thoughts and judgment of others. I have countless ideas and plans for 2010...there is so much I want to do...I get anxious and excited at the possibilities that are ahead. <3

What are some of the things you are especially thankful for this year? Happy Thanksgiving!!

LBD with a Twist--Literally.

Alexander Wang draped satin jersey dress. I came across this
browsing Net-a-porter.com and was fully obsessed immediately. Alexander Wang has had quite the year! I feel like all the incredible pieces that have caught my eye lately, be it in magazines, on T.V. or walking the runway have been serious statement pieces to any wardrobe. This is one of my favorite dresses of the moment. I love a classic LBD but this has a twist and an edge. I feel like paired with a black blazer or my personal favorite--a leather jacket, this dress would break (not turn) necks instantly. Paired with Tory Burch heels and a Bottega Venetta Clutch. Simply Stunning.

My mind goes rampid for fall/ winter attire. I am craving all things Alexander Wang, deep crazy dark nail polish, purple everything, over the top platforms, leather jackets, gold, and tights in all patterns and textures. My heart melts in this seasonal frenzy. <3

Gossip Stunners

I'm a true Gossip Girl fan and have been watching the show since episode 1. I'm also a true fan of the stylists used on set, they know just how to dress each character true to part. Last nights episode featured the sexy bombshell that is Blake Lively in a short fitted one sleeved purple dress that I instantly fell hard for. I scrambled to the computer to find out who made it, and to no surprise it is an Alexander Wang piece. Gorgeous!!! I also took note of the dress Jessica Szohr wore in the opening flashback scene. It happens to be a Reem Acra gown that I've had my eye on for quite some time now. I think it was on the runway a little over a year ago. It became one of my all time favorite gowns when Olivia Wilde wore it to the '08 Emmy's and I was in awe of it the entire time she walked the red carpet. She looked like a goddess. Truly one of my favorite dresses everrrrrr!!! I also think it would make for a beyond gorgeous wedding dress...right?! So simple and classic, and it has that timeless delicate feel to it. Love Love Love.

Studded.

My new obsession. Alexander Wang's "Coco Mini Duffel" has major stars scrambling to snatch one and there is already a waiting list. MK Olsen and Kristin Cavallari have been spotted with this studded leather number and I'm truly jealous. Surprisingly only $850 a pop (I know it's absurd that I think this is actually a semi-decent price), but usually these pieces run over $1200!! Not to say that I can afford such a rarity but I also can't afford most of the designer items my little heart desire's. Until I make it big or find some sort of wealthy gentleman/ sugar daddy, I have to resort to dreaming/ hoping and praying for a much cheaper version. ;)
