Although I wasn't too thrilled with the Oscar gowns this year, I did fall in love with 2 dresses. That would be the magnificent Michelle Williams in Chanel and Jennifer Lawrence (who is stunning as well) in Calvin Klein. I was thrilled Michelle didn't go with something frumpy because she is too gorgeous to not be seen. It seemed the simple trend was happening a lot this award season and although I do love a good over the top gown, it was a nice change. I love the fact that something so simple (like all of Calvin Klein's dresses) can be so elegant with just a touch of sexy.
