Act like a LADY♥

Lady Gaga dominating V Magazine and doing what she does best: Taking Fashion and pop culture to a whoooooole other level. I think she's fierce and I can't get enough of her absurdly crazy outfits, the props that she wears/ uses during her performances, and her fearless attitude. I think having her do what she's doing in Pop music right now is refreshing and well needed. This coming from a HARDCORE Madonna fan (I was 6 yrs old when I started watching her dance around stage with the cone bra on), I think she is without a doubt going to not only stick around but she's going to push boundaries and continue to do outlandish things in the process of her career. Not since the material girl herself has it become expected of someone to wear...bras that have sparklers in them, go pantless, and wear outfits constructed solely out of bubbles, lace or hoisery. Bottom line: She is making music and fashion fun! And on top of that she's got a really good voice and knows how to hold the attention of an audience! (Hence, her recent performance on SNL when she played piano and sang an assortment of her own music all while wearing the giant orb.) Without a doubt one of my favorite performances ever.

I'm obsessed with my Fashion magazines as it is, and when there is a spread on a celeb that I particularly enjoy (in this case it's VB) I make a point to savor everything from the styling to the article itself. I of course love the outrageous photos she takes, but it's also fun to take a peek inside her world in the editorial piece. She mostly discussed enjoying her new life in L.A., working on her lavishly and impeccably put together clothing line, and of course being a "Mum" and Wife. I literally laughed out loud at the excerpt from above. I mean, I can barely picture this woman in a pair of flats, let alone...camping? in a backyard? I guess that saying is true however it goes...Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see? Well in that case, I'm sure she's quite a camper...it's not everyday a woman throws on 5 inch heels to go camp in her own backyard with her kids right? Well, maybe in Beverly Hills...

As mentioned a few posts back, Diane Kruger is still at the top of my "Girl Crush" list. I think aside from her effortless beauty, I appreciate her overall attitude towards fashion in general. She's knows how to take risks and be herself while still maintaining that classic old Hollywood glam feel throughout her looks.
