Fall has now entered and taken over my mind. Pleasantly surprised with the forever21 finds shown. Love the idea of endless wedges even as the cold weather approaches. I picked up the first pair immediately upon noticing them. They instantly reminded me of the Bottega Vennetas that I obviously can't afford. So so good.

Must Have

Completely obsessed with the 'cargo skinny jean' look that's happening right now. I got myself a pair of regular green cargo's from H&M last month and they are super cute and great to throw on when I'm in a hurry or just running to a store. But these Jbrand cargo's retailed at $230 have stolen my heart. I first noticed them on Khloe Kardashian but just recently came across them on Rihanna and Hillary Duff. I can't bring myself to spend that much on a pair of pants and am currently scoping for the perfect 'knock off' pair...and one that won't break the bank!

This blistering cold weather leaves me day dreaming in class on the many joys that come with spring. One of the more important being the return of fabulous wedges and open toe platforms. With that in mind I pulled some of my favorite looks that I've come across throughout my favorite shopping sites and blogs.

First up is the tremendous and over the top Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci platform wedges. These were brought to my attention through the Rachel Zoe Report I receive daily (she always shows the most fabulous pieces! To join go to rachelzoe.com.) I promise you won't be disappointed! Anyway aren't those platforms to die for ?! Dangerous and over the top...right up my alley! The second pair is the Jessica Simpson Dani and the third are the Steve Madden Pointter.
I'm really feeling the whole chunky wooden heel/ wedge for this spring/ summer. Can't wait to get my hands on a pair!

...My eyes are now fixated on these to-die-for thigh high suede boots.
They are awfully pretty and actually appear to be bearable to walk in.
I have been a very good girl this year and even pulled in some pretty amazing grades.
These are a sure way to spice up any outfit.
Also a sure way to turn some heads on the street. ;)
My heart melts for these. Must.Have.Them.

Aldo has become my new favorite go-to shoe store when in need of designer looks--for A LOT less. The quality is amazing and the styles are endless. These are just a few of the looks I'm mad about right now. My all time favorite's of the moment include the 2nd pair which are the "Rosemore" platforms (I love the metal piece in the front!), and the over-the-knee "Cassetty" zip up flat boots.

All can be found at aldoshoes.com

So for any of you ladies who watch "The City", you are definitely familiar with the socialite everyone loves to hate, Olivia Palermo. I know, she seems like a wicked biatch on the show and she probably is. Regardless I would be in total denial if I said I didn't have much appreciation for the girls sense of fashion. I'm yet to see her in an outfit I wouldn't die to be seen in. This girl has impeccable taste. I find myself becoming more and more infatuated with her outfits from NYC street wear to her gala/ event pieces. I also really appreciate that someone of her stature notably wears the same thing twice (sometimes). Okay, she won't literally wear the same outfit twice, but she knows how to take certain pieces and transform them from day to evening at the drop of a hat, AND she does it oh-so-well.

One of my all time favorite looks is the DVF blouse she was spotted running around the city in with the black vest, shorts, and flats. She looked beyond adorable, fresh and ladylike. She took that same DVF top and wore it to an evening event only she paired it with a tweed shorts and some sexy strappy heels.

I'm also loving the silver menswear shoes she rocked with shorts and that gorgeous Chloe bag, and again with liquid leggings. Classic chic at it's finest.

Oh.Em.Gee.

As all the madness for fall has slowly been consuming my mind I have a new "must have" that I literally MUST HAVE! I need to find these thigh high boots known as "the fairfax" by Report Signature! Kim Kardashian has been spotted in them and they are amazinggggg!!! I seriously die when I look at them, they are perfect for the fall. I'm completely obsessed with finding this particular pair because as fabulous and expensive as they look...they are actually decently priced! When I first saw them on Kim I thought they had to be like over $600, but one website had them marked for $240! :O Unfortunately these beautiful darlings are sold out everywhere :( I will not give up easily though...I will continue to hunt until I find these or a similar pair. My excitement for fall exceeds yet again!

Florals Dominate.

I had mixed feelings about floral prints and now I'm majorly in love with them! I am particularly partial to floral flowy blouses as well as the short summer dresses. I am in love with the black one Rihanna wore this week while shopping around in NYC (2nd pic!). I think the smaller prints are easier on the eye but the larger ones definitely pop when done right. Forever21.com has so many cute floral summer dresses as well as some very pretty blouses for the fall. I really can't wait to start working on the new fall wardrobe selections. What I love most is the femininity and girlyness to floral pieces but when paired with darker more androgynous pieces like black tights or a dark blazer they are easily toned down and still have give off a WoW factor with any outfit.

Studded.

My new obsession. Alexander Wang's "Coco Mini Duffel" has major stars scrambling to snatch one and there is already a waiting list. MK Olsen and Kristin Cavallari have been spotted with this studded leather number and I'm truly jealous. Surprisingly only $850 a pop (I know it's absurd that I think this is actually a semi-decent price), but usually these pieces run over $1200!! Not to say that I can afford such a rarity but I also can't afford most of the designer items my little heart desire's. Until I make it big or find some sort of wealthy gentleman/ sugar daddy, I have to resort to dreaming/ hoping and praying for a much cheaper version. ;)

Loving...

I'm so crazy over Balmain right now!!! Seriously being that I'm forever obsessed with fashion mags. I feel like this designer is eeeeverywhere! I love all the clothes from the trendy rhinestone sandals that can pretty much be seen on any celebrity's feet to the dresses/ gowns to the jeans and tops and of course the insane "royalty" jacket. That's what I like to refer to them as because they look like they are made for a king or queen (and at over $12,000 a pop) that's of course why the elite such as Kate Moss, and Beyonce have been rocking them hardcore. The hardware on the jackets and vests have a rock n roll edge but still maintain that feminine girly quality that I love so much. The gowns are surreal I mean it goes from extreme to the next..boho chic...(last pic above), + simple and sexy (2nd from the top) The elaborate colors and prints are also mesmerising. ;) I also figured out that this definitely adds to my love for Zara as mentioned in a previous post. Most of the Zara pieces look semi-inspired by this flamboyant designer and I simply can't wait to get my hands on a similar style jacket. I always have a designer of the moment and it was previously Rodarte, but right now Balmain is taking over and as my favorite funny gal Chelsea Handler would say...I like it. I like it -- a lot.

Cut-offs

Cut-offs are appearing everywhere these days, and with the heat (no sun still) just hot humidity it makes sense. They are the casual way to keep cool and can be dressed up or down. For me I think they look best plain and simple. I'd say with a plain white or black tee and then glammed up with a belt or big jewelry, and some cute sandals. I do however love the rocker chic look the vest gives off (Nicky Hilton) or a cute Motorcycle Jacket (Amanda Bynes). The acid wash with the torn bottoms and pockets peeking out of the bottom's are my fav.♥

Epic. 1958-2009

Two huge hits in one day, first Farrah now MJ. So sad :( Michael Jackson died today after suffering Cardiac Arrest. The world is in mourning of the epic entertainer and music icon. I'm sitting here thinking of all the great music he made and all of the great entertainers I follow now who looked to him as the one and only King of Pop. I of course mourned while watching the Thriller video which is my all time favorite of his as well as some of his later performances with Britney Spears and NSYNC. His music will live on forever but my thoughts and prayers are with his family and his children. Let this be a reminder to never take life for granted, our time here is so short. Live in the moment, and never stop dreaming...

Must Have!

As far as I'm concerned Kim Kardashian is always on top of her game when it comes to putting together some amazing outfits. These were taken at the airport on her way back from Monaco and I have to say I think this outift is hot. Lately I love the messy look. Ripped jeans with a tee is pretty ordinary but once the black blazer and Balenciaga bag get thrown into the mix the outfit comes together and somehow it all makes sense. Along with the blazer I'm loving those sunglasses she's wearing and am trying to find out who makes them....my search continues!

Gladiator Glory

I came across these faboosh gladiators on aldoshoes.com a couple months ago. They are known as the "Rosenberger" and are currently $75.00. I of course have been monitoring them carefully waiting patiently for a sale. Beyonce was recently spotted wearing them in "Tuqouise" which has more of a silvery tint to the colors on each strap. The pair above is the "Light Yellow" which I feel like would blend very nicely into my wardrobe. I'm on a gold/ brown frenzy right now and these would look great with almost anything! Not only are they bright and colorful but I especially love the light snakeskin detail on several straps as well as the hidden zipper in the back. When I want something I go crazy until I have it, which means aldoshoes.com will be getting daily checks until these babys drop in price!

The Romper Room!

Here's a trend I cannot get ENOUGH OF ! The romper has slowly been making it's way back onto the scene for a couple of years now. The first one I remember seeing and actually thinking looked adorable on was worn by Jamie Lynn Spears (Pre-baby) a couple of years back at some awards show. I remember it was a bright coral color and she wore it with a cute pair of strappy heels and a dark tan....it looked adorable! From then on I frantically was on the hunt for one, and I even did a mega search for one for my 21st Bday! I was looking everywhere online, unfortunately at that time there were few to choose from and they were very expensive! Now they can be found almost anywhere and I love it! I picked up one in black from express recently for only $39.50 and I can't wait to wear it. It's cotton so you can wear it down with some cute sandals or glam it up for a night out with some sexy heels and some cute jewels. You can get really creative with them as they come in tons of fabrics, colors, and patterns. Blake Lively has been spotted wearing them to several events lately and Nicole Richie was also one of the first to emerge in one (of course--she is a mega trend setter!). I know for some people they take some getting used to, but I for sure have been in awe of these cute little one pieces for a long time...I just hope they stick around!
