It's time for...

...a new watch. ;) Although I'm still obsessed with my Michael Kors, I am a bit of a watch fiend as of late and can't help but notice them everywhere. Digital is definitely a stretch for me and I'm not gonna lie there was a time (not too long ago) when I considered them to be well..some what geeky. There I said it. Fortunately I'm the type of person who grows to like things very easily. Unfortunately when I see something I want I don't stop until I get it. I noticed the top Casio watch on one of the sales associates at a store the other day and I simply could not stop staring! I eventually approached the young woman and paid her a compliment. The watch looked simple and classy. Even though it was on the small side (I'm partial to an over sized mans watch at all times), there is something intriguing about these simple time pieces. All Casio and Timex, prices ranging from $55-$150.

New MK Fall '09

These are a few images from the new Michael Kors ads. I'm obsessed with the first pic with the magenta dress and big fur coat! To die for. I was flipping through the August issue of Harpers Baazar and could not take my eyes off of that pic! I also love the big chunky necklace and strappy patent leather platforms. It gives the look such an edge! I also must have a pair of sunglasses similar to the ones at the bottom. They have a bit of a retro 80's feel to them but I also think they are just plain hot and I would rock them with just about everything! I think there is nothing hotter than a simple look like skinny jeans and a plain white T paired with some faboosh shades and a HUGE watch....there's something about that look that is so sexy to me. Looooooove!!!!!!!!!!

So I decided to treat myself to a day of shopping! =)

I seriously can't remember the last time I was able to shop for myself and by myself. Soo the Michael Kors watch that I've had my eye on since late fall was no longer a want. That baby became a NEED the second the sales lady slid it onto my wrist! It felt sooo good to just walk around (without watching the clock) and check out all the new stuff for Spring!! The damage could have been FAR worse, but I was able to catch some sales, and use my coupons. I also kept envisioning my bank account depleting in my head, which helped a lot as I walked passed the Louis Vuitton counter. I actually had self control! Needless to say my parents were proud and shopping is actually a really good workout, right?! ;)
