The holiday season is finally here, and with that being said it's definitely a time to give and be happy and appreciative of all the great people and things you love in life. My mind is filled with Christmas music, the smell of yummy lattes from Starbucks, incredible fashion (chunky knits, over the knee boots! oh my!), and of course the love of family and friends. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I feel this year in particular I opened my eyes and finally realized who and what is important to me...I also learned to weed out the bad and negative energy and surround myself only with positive. There are many things I'm thankful for such as...
My amazing family, good health, my 2 best friends and my countless other friends I've met the past few years (Another lesson learned--I'd rather have 1 or 2 REAL friends than a bunch of fake ones.), I'm thankful for my Mom and her strength...she's the reason I went back to school and have NOT lost focus of my dreams and goals in life. I'm also thankful for having dreams and goals, because let's be honest--anyone who doesn't is seriously missing out! I'm thankful for THIS BLOG AND ALL THE AMAZING BLOGS OUT THERE!, new friends, life altering surprises, kittens, Lady Gaga, music that has life meaning and actually puts me in a trance, the Elliptial machine (Our relationship was love/hate for a while but now I think were buddies), all things Fashion (duh!), but particularly all of the items noted 2 posts ago. Hmmm....cupcakes, sequins, fashion mags, my amazing book collection, curlers (WHAT...a difference they make for my hair after a good blow out!), and my gold Michael Kors watch that as of late I feel naked without. I look forward to the Christmas season like no other, I swear I wish a was a little kid again. I'm especially thankful for the freedom I have to make my own decisions without the thoughts and judgment of others. I have countless ideas and plans for 2010...there is so much I want to do...I get anxious and excited at the possibilities that are ahead. <3
What are some of the things you are especially thankful for this year? Happy Thanksgiving!!
