I'm sure I'm behind but I finally went and saw Sex and the City 2 this past week. I'm gonna keep try to keep this short and sweet (key word 'try'!). Fashion wise = amazingg. Story line = not so amazing. Actually I'm gonna come right out and say it....I was extremely disappointed!! :( I'm a hardcore S&TC fan and although I learned a long time ago that you should never expect too much from sequels, I kinda got my hope up that this one would be different. Anyway although I wasn't happy with the plot OR setting, I was impressed with the wardrobe choices. Although not completely blown away like I was in the first movie, I was delighted at a few select pieces. My favorite was hands down, the gown Miranda wore in the wedding scene. She looked stunning! The gown which is by Julien Macdonald was originally picked for Samantha but due to sizing issues, they tried it on Miranda and well..Wow! That dress was ridiculoussss (in a good way!) and I'm really glad they stepped up and gave Miranda some real show stoppers this time around. Next up was Carries Halston Herritage dress which there were a few of in slightly different styles/ colors but this purple one was simple and classic. I also loooooved the red dress with the spiky shoulders Samantha wore during the Karaoke scene. Very out there and sharp (no pun intended), but fun and very much a 'Samantha' dress. What were your thoughts on the movie/ style choices?
